Hey guys, I've been out of touch for a bit due to some personal issues but I wanted to let you know I'm going to be working on a new feature.

I've decided since we've got a good solid core going on and steady stream of visitors from search engines, I'm going to start the process of creating "Offical GamerSoundtracks.com Albums". Here's basically how it would work:

  1. A new section called "Official Albums" will be made. These will have a collection of game soundtracks that are completed or to be remixed either due to demand or the game's popularity.
  2. If a game soundtrack is to be remixed, a list of songs will be available. Not all songs from the game's original soundtrack will be incorporated as there are just some songs that are really short and not really worth it.
  3. Users will then be able to select a song they want to remix, that is as long as no one else has claimed it. After being approved, users remixing a song on that album will have a special section that only they can visit. It will have a special message board dedicated to that album's project, along with other features.
  4. After a series of submissions and corrections and everything looks good, your song will be approved! You can continue on to another song if you'd like.
  5. Once all songs on the soundtrack are complete, the album will be officially released and very actively advertised throughout the web.

I'm thinking that for these songs, production and creativity are going to be very important, so that way when you listen to it, it sounds like a professional, studio quality album.

As I said, I'm working on it so it may not be done for awhile, but what do you guys think about the idea? Do you have any suggestions on how to improve upon this idea?

Thank you all who have been participating and visiting!

This sounds like a great idea to promote the site and artists!
